M82, known as the Starburst Galaxy, features a bright blue disk, webs of shredded clouds and plumes of glowing hydrogen emanating from its central regions. Throughout the galaxy's center, young stars are being born 10 times faster than they are inside our entire Milky Way Galaxy.

More than 3,000 stars of various sizes appear in this image of the Orion Nebula. Some of them have never been seen in visible light. Ultraviolet light from the four central stars is carving a cavity in the nebula and disrupting the growth of hundreds of smaller stars.
