Embarrassed by her ballooning weight, Colleen, right, often hid in the background of photos and stopped participating in family outings. Her daughters became worried and staged an "intervention" to encourage her to get active.

At her daughters' college graduation in 2011, Colleen realized she was tired of being ashamed. She decided then and there to make a change. From left, Chloe, Colleen, Candace, Celeste and Miriam.

Colleen started exercising three days a week for 20 minutes. She kept adding days until she was working out five or six days a week for 45 minutes. By May 2012, she was down to a size 2/4.

Colleen says she feels "100% better" now that she's dropped more than 110 pounds. She can even fit into her daughters' clothing.
