At 19, Michelle was happy with her weight, but the years to follow would be filled with crash diets.

2007 —
At her heaviest, Jackson, left, weighed more than 330 pounds.

2009 —
Jackson's desk job kept her inactive for most of the day and she rarely exercised before her "get fit" plan.

2010 —
Jackson says her husband, Rob, thinks her cooking is even better now that she's using healthier ingredients.

2011 —
Jackson had gestational diabetes when she was pregnant with her son, Nate. Her dietician told her to spread carbohydrates out during the day, a rule she still follows.

January 2012 —
Jackson was overweight as a child and worried her son would grow up with weight issues as well.

April 2012 —
Jackson works out three times a week, doing 30 minutes of cardio followed by crunches and strength training.

May 2012 —
Jackson has lost 100 pounds since March 2011. She will probably not reach her goal weight by her 40th birthday, but she's happy with the health benefits she's seen from her progress so far.

August 2012 —
The best thing about her outfit in this photo? It was "purchased at regular' stores with misses sizing," Jackson says. "No plus sizes!"
