An activist in Hong Kong closes his eyes during a hunger strike next to the portrait of late Chinese dissident Li Wangyang. Li was found dead in suspicious circumstances in his hospital ward in southcentral China's Hunan province.

Li was found hanging in his hospital room in Shaoyang, but relatives, friends and activist groups do not believe he died of a suicide.
