Iggy started rapping at 15, and at first wasn't well-received. "I think you've just got to have a belief in yourself and try to believe that you can do better and change minds," she said.

On the topic of discussing sex in her music, Iggy said, "I'm a woman in a male-dominated industry, and this really big part of my life is having to deal with all those types of things."

Iggy admitted there were times when she wanted to "pack it in and give up," but she's learned that "you've got to keep persevering and trust that all the little things are just going to make you better."
