Two quakes rattle Venezuela within a minute, causing damage and state of emergency

Venezuela’s northern coast was struck by two powerful earthquakes within a minute on Wednesday, triggering building collapses and sending residents fleeing into the streets. Extensive damage has been reported in the capital, and authorities have declared a state of emergency in the country, already mired in political and economic crisis. CNN contributor Stefano Pozzebon reports from Colombia.
