Hungary’s new PM vows to restore media freedom
Hungary’s incoming prime minister Peter Magyar confirmed on Wednesday that he plans on suspending the country’s public media broadcasts until press freedoms can be ensured. Long shunned from pro-government outlets, the newly elected leader went on public television and radio on Wednesday denouncing what he called “a factory of lies” controlled by the outgoing prime minister Viktor Orban. CNN’s Melissa Bell reports.
