London, England (CNN) -- French urban climber Alain Robert's audacious climbs extend far beyond the borders of his own country. Over the last 16 years, the "French Spiderman" has traveled across the planet to conquer some of Earth's highest landmarks.
From Montreal to Hong Kong and Abu Dhabi to Mexico City, Robert's small-framed stature has become a regular sight on the urban skyline of the world's biggest cities. His latest feat was in April in La Defense area of Paris, where he spoke to CNN about living close to the edge.
