I never expected I would be living with a roommate at this age. But you know, it's not too bad!

In some ways, it's better than living alone and I have someone to watch my cat when I'm on the road, which is a lot. I'm a comedian.

Plus, my roommate, Nikki, is extremely neat. I'm less inclined to be messy with her around. When I've lived alone it can get like a bomb hit.

The apartment is pretty big as New York apartments go, 750 square feet. I could afford it on my own but every penny helps; it's like found money.

The only time I wish I didn't have a roommate is when I have a girlfriend over, but that doesn't happen too often.

My roommate is totally cool with it. She has a boyfriend who has his own place so she doesn't have any guys over. Once in a while we have parties and both sets of our friends get to know each other.
