Now, her 16-year-old son has a part-time job and helps pay for the cable bill, while her 14-year-old daughter earns extra spending money through babysitting. And when her 10-year-old son is old enough, she will encourage him to find a part-time job as well.
"If you want to wear Hollister and all that expensive stuff, you need to purchase it," said Taylor. "I'm trying to teach [them] that in life you have to pay for where you live, the cost of bills."
