It comes as no surprise that computer engineering students would love the chance to work at Microsoft (MSFT) and contribute to developing products such as the Xbox One and Surface tablet.

According to Universum, the company stands for "prestige, opportunity, progress, innovation, smart, leaders" among young engineers.

The company is also known for job stability, which is valued highly by graduates.
