'In an exclusive interview with CNN, Harvey Weinstein accuser Ambra Battilana Gutierrez said she sees parallels between the Trump hush money trial and how she says she was silenced by the National Enquirer. Gutierrez said she was assaulted by the then-movie mogul during a casting meeting in 2015. After she told police that Weinstein had assaulted her, Gutierrez says she was targeted by the National Enquirer in a catch and kill story operation. Now, watching former President Donald Trump's trial, Gutierrez sees chilling parallels to what she says she went through as a young model who just moved to New York City.

I'm pretty sure it's what happened back in the days it somebody had the power in their hands, a big power in their hands, like he has, to destroy somebody and their reputation. I was a 22 years old model, and I worked with my reputation, with my face, with my name. I just tried to rebuild myself. It was so hard.

The Biden administration says it will cancel an additional $7.7 billion in student loans for 160,000 Americans in an effort to alleviate the burden of college debt. The decision comes as President Joe Biden wants to highlight progress in supporting borrowers ahead of the upcoming November election. Republicans, though, have generally been against Biden's student debt cancellations. They accused him of transferring the burden to taxpayers, as well as undermining the Supreme Court, which blocked a White House student loan forgiveness plan last year.

Coming up, a golfer's assault charge is up in the air. In Louisville, Kentucky, there are signs of dissent among police over a felony assault charge against world number one golfer Scottie Scheffler, who reportedly tried to drive around the scene of a fatal accident. CNN's Gabe Cohen explains.

He's facing charges of criminal mischief, reckless driving, disregarding signals from officers. But the most serious one by far is the second degree assault on an officer charge. That is a felony. We have learned through a source that there was some sort of meeting that included at least some of those top brass officials from the Louisville Police Department, and they were really in consensus that that charge felt excessive.
