Christian Louboutin is one of the most celebrated shoe designers in the world. Born and raised in the east of Paris, his signature red sole, made famous by the towering Pigalle pump stiletto. As a child Louboutin dreamt of making shoes for showgirls. Since then he has grown his company into a global brand, adored by women and men the world over. In February 2020, Louboutin joined CNN Style as guest editor, commissioning a series of features exploring the theme of journeys.
