Emily Atkinson is the Executive Producer of ‘The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer’ which airs weekdays at 6pmET. Atkinson has been with CNN for more than 25 years, working as a Senior Broadcast Producer, Associate Producer and writer for ‘The Situation Room’ prior to her current role. She began her career at CNN as an editorial producer for the network’s guest booking department before becoming a senior booker for several different shows, including the network’s morning show. Atkinson is a graduate of Wellesley College.
