Hospitals in southern Gaza have just three days of fuel left, and the head of the World Health Organization warns that facilities will soon no longer be able to treat patients. The dire outlook comes after Israel took over the Palestinian side of the Rafah border crossing, which is a vital entry point for fuel and humanitarian aid to the besieged territory north of Rafah. Medical teams say they've discovered a third mass grave inside Gaza's largest hospital and on units. The Ministry of Health says it's the seventh mass grave found inside a hospital. CNN has reached out to the Israeli military for comment. Meanwhile, U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin says the U.S. is pausing a bomb shipment to Israel over concerns that munitions will be used in the Rafah offensive.

'The very need for this hearing is a travesty. The aftermath of October 7th has revealed some of the ugliest, most deprived ideas once marginalized from polite society, and our education system has failed to stop it. It's not just anti-Israel, it's anti-American, it's anti-democracy.

'The chancellor of the New York City public schools and the superintendent of the Berkeley Unified School District were among the officials who testified. New York City's chancellor said his district has removed discipline, or is in the process of disciplining at least a dozen staff members over alleged anti-Semitism. And the Berkeley superintendent denied that anti-Semitism is widespread in her district, a day after the U.S. Department of Education announced it was investigating a complaint that the district had failed to address severe bullying and harassment of Jewish students since the October 7th Hamas attack.

'The New York attorney general is suing an anti-abortion group in nearly a dozen pregnancy centers in the state for fraud, deceptive business practices and false advertising. The civil suit alleges Heartbeat International promoted an unproven procedure they claimed could reverse the effects of the abortion pill. But major medical groups say abortion pill reversal is not backed by science and does not meet clinical standards. Attorney General Letitia James says Heartbeat International's mission is to prevent people from obtaining abortions.

'Drug giant AstraZeneca is withdrawing its highly successful Covid vaccine, citing a surplus of updated Covid vaccines, which have lowered demand. The company says its vaccine hasn't generated revenue since April of last year. The European Medicines Agency also announced the withdrawal, which means the vaccine is no longer authorized to be marketed or sold in European Union countries. AstraZeneca says it'll work with regulators in other countries to, quote, "align on a clear path forward." The UK based pharmaceutical firm known for its popular cancer drugs after the Covid- 19 crisis with little experience developing vaccines. And there were setbacks, including a rare vaccine side effect, a dangerous blood clotting condition. But it overcame these setbacks.
